What to do in Casale Monferrato on the last weekend of September? The city offers a weekend of reading, music, art, activities with furry friends and tastings. On Saturday 29th in Piazza Mazzini will take place the “Bookasalecrossing” with the show "Storie a Perdicollo". More than two thousand books will be available for free exchange (10 am-7 pm) with a special children's area. At the Castello del Monferrato, art protagonist in the Regional Enoteca of Monferrato on Saturday 29th thanks to the vernissage of the exhibition "Hanging clothes" by Cinzia Sassone (6-8 pm) and on Sunday 30th (4-6 pm) wine tasting for "Divin Monferrato" ". On Sunday 30th (at 4 pm) will start the Zampettata 2018, walk in the center with furry friends. The Cathedral of Sant'Evasio will host (at 6.30 pm) the "Concert for Life" with the vocal and instrumental ensemble Prof in Coro on AIDO National Day. And from Casale Monferrato, going up the Po River, we arrive at the Old San Giovanni Mill in Fontanetto Po, where on Saturday 29th the exhibition of the painter Anna Rota Milani will be inaugurated? On Saturday 29th Mazzetti d'Altavilla - Distillatori dal 1846, on the top of Altavilla Monferrato, hosts (at 4.3 0pm) the presentation of the ITACA Monferrato Festival drink and surprise. The Roseto della Sorpresa Association of Castell'Alfero will hold a trip on Saturday 29th to Govone (Cn) where, at the Castle, will be organized the exhibition of original photographs of Leo Gilardi entitled "Il Paesaggio del Vissuto" (at 10 am). Events between hills and the Po Plain

While in Monferrato the harvest is in progress a triumph of events awaits visitors in the setting of the landscape that turns towards the autumn. For music lovers in San Salvatore Monferrato, the Sansalvatorese September continues with the Festival "Parole e Musica in Monferrato" while theater fans will be able to watch the comedy "Si siamo aggiusti tutti tutti bene", in Coniolo on Friday 28th (at 9 pm). On Sunday 30th Pontestura will welcome antique and vintage lovers with the many stalls in piazza Castello of the barter exhibition and, on Sunday 30th, the Castle of San Giorgio Monferrato will propose (at 3 pm) a theatrical guided tour while at 6 pm it will be the Castle of Uviglie to propose a theatrical guided tour. Numerous wine and food opportunities on the weekend starting with Ozzano Monferrato where, on Sunday 30th , there will be a special event called "Add a hamlet to a table". On Friday 28 th (from 6.30 pm) at the Castle of San Giorgio Monferrato will start the Aperitif in the Terrace while in Moncalvo, from 28th to 30th, Piazza Carlo Alberto will host the Street Food. Do not miss the event "Not only corn" in Giarole on 29 th and 30 th. Other events? On Saturday 29 th (at 5 pm) Cella Monte will host the ceremony for the entry of the Municipality among the most beautiful villages in Italy while in the evening the Odalengo Piccolo Astronomical Observatory will reopen for a "stellar" evening. A lot of choice also for walkers: until September 30 th the Gran Trekking del Monferrato of Burned Castles in Valcerrina area will take place and on Sunday 30 th will be proposed the Walk between “Cave and Miniere” (quarries and mines) on the Coniolo hills. You can also walk in the area of Villamiroglio where, on Sunday 30th, the event of Camminare il Monferrato arrives.
